Making Your Will

Wills can be simple or complicated, depending on your circumstances, but all Wills follow a similar path:

  1. What to Consider - matters to think about before you make your Will.
  2. Appointing Executors - considering those who will handle your estate.
  3. Appointing Beneficiaries - who will receive gifts from your estate?
  4. Appointing Guardians and Trustees - taking care of minor children physically and financially.
  5. Funeral and Burial Wishes - what you should know.
  6. Gifts to Charity - consider gifts to charities in your Will
  7. Signing a Will - legal requirements
  8. Having a Will Witnessed - the strict rules
  9. Storing a Will - keeping it safe.
