Burial and Funeral Wishes

You can make reference in your Will to burial and funeral arrangements. However, in the majority of circumstances family members organise the funeral arrangements without checking the peron's Will.

It is often a couple of weeks before the family attends the solicitors office for the reading of the Will. It is important therefore, that the executor and family members are made aware of these funeral wishes now.

While an individual may set out in their Will their wishes on their burial and funeral arrangements, these are not binding on the executor, though generally these wishes are taken into account when they are known.

Funeral expenses are discharged out of your estate by the executor.

Request a Call Back or contact us directly and one of our team will discuss your Will or Estate and how we can assist you.
